Folks always ask how we “got into Morgan horses” and the story goes something like this… A lifelong passion of horses became a dream fulfilled with the purchase of our first Morgan horse, Irish Joy in 1986. This beautiful, kind and intelligent mare was purchased as a family trail horse but she was so much more than that. Irish Joy was our introduction into a breed that many call the most beautiful and versatile horse in America. This lovely mare became our inspiration. Irish Joy set into motion a breeding program with a very specific goal in mind: to breed beautiful correct sound-minded horses that would be competitive in today's show world, as well as a safe and gentle family horse.

From the show ring to the backyard, our horses are the product of a very selective breeding program. Our program incorporates bloodlines from the most popular show lines as well as the older well-loved and well-proven blood that made our breed what it is today. We recognize that not all horse owners desire to be a part of the horse show industry, therefore we strive to have the disposition, and athletic ability in our horses that not only the family & amateur owner can work with and enjoy, but that the professional horseman find equal to their standards as well. Our program has now evolved to include an array of colors in our foals that include palomino, buckskin, crème as well as sabino.
